Gucci Decor is Finally Here

Published on

Give your home the ultimate Gucci touch with the famous Italian fashion house’s latest collection: Gucci Décor. Gucci has had quite the year under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, which includes a collaboration with popular street artist, GucciGhost, a cool collab with MR PORTER and now the launch of a chic home collection.

Gucci Décor will launch in September with a global roll-out in Gucci flagship stores, online at and in selected specialty stores. Though there will be no dedicated area for the home in each store, the collection will be seamlessly integrated into the interiors of each store and integrated with clothing, accessories and shop fittings.

The eclectic home collection contains all the elements intended to give your home that unique, customizable glam. The big idea behind the design is to provide all the right pieces while still allowing customers to be flexible enough to reinvent and personalize their living spaces. According to Michele, Gucci Décor is just another way to wear Gucci, which is why he’s bringing the catwalk into the home with patterns, colors and designs inspired by the latest fashion collections. The result? The same beloved Gucci reimagined for a different environment.

From fashion designs to home décor, Michele doesn’t miss a beat. Furniture, furnishings and crockery combine vibrant patterns with delicate ornaments. Pieces of text occasionally float into the designs and the influence of the Gucci Garden is undeniable. Bees, butterflies and cockerel heads appear on everything from decorative folding screens to unconventional pillows. In keeping with the garden theme, Michele designed a range of crockery featuring an elegant green and white Herbarium accent.

Certainly there is no lack of color or personality in these designs. Giving us sleek metal trays to complement metal folding side tables with brightly decorated tops, Michele makes it easy for constant transformation. Take a look at the vanity seating and you’ll find an array of contrasting patterns and colors. Created in different shapes and sizes, these seats are complete with rich velvet backing decorated with roses, snakes, tigers and more. If you’re looking for a little privacy, Gucci has folding screens that are like nothing you’ve ever seen. They scream Gucci fashion sporting unique garden and pineapple prints plus patters with octopuses or leaves. Take a bold step and polish off your look with daring wallpapers, like their silk and vinyl displays to make a strong statement.

As for the smaller pieces in the collection, credit goes to Richard Ginori for creating intricate porcelain decorations such as the scented-candle holders. Along with his over-the-top designs, Michele developed four scents intended for both candles and incense that will give your home a distinct, earthy feel ranging from ancient damask rose to jasmine and lemongrass.
